Today it makes no difference if Family Feud is playing on TV or not, because we d rather play it than watch it. Although it would be epic if Steve Harvey visited your homes and hosted a home-game-show of family feud questions and answers for you and your family, you can do it all by yourself. To host a great game of family feud that you will be talking about for weeks, you need to know the rules of the game and to prepare a list of family feud questions and answers.

How to Play Family Feud Questions and Answers

The game is played by two teams, consisted of family members only, whether related by blood, adoption or marriage. Each team can be consisted of as many family members as you like, but if you want to keep it as closest as possible to the original, each team should count 5 members and you should have your own host to read the questions. Having a host can also make you feel like you re on a TV game show, especially if he\she gets really into the role.

Each question has multiple answers, but they aren t as much answers as unique and hilarious responses. Each response earns the team a different number of points. Contestants are challenged to provide the most popular and the highest ranking response to the questions in order to win. While the highest ranking response provides most points to the team, the ultimate goal is to win 300 points.

The game starts with one member of each team trying to win the “face-off” question and earn their family the privilege of answering first. The faster contestant who answers this question basically wins their family the control of the game. If this player didn t give the highest-ranking response to the initial question, the other members of his\her team also give it a try. If they too fail to deliver it, the opposing team gets to try and deliver the highest-ranking response. However, the family that wins the face-off have the right to either play the question or pass control to the opposing team.

With each new question, the number of responses decreases. If you re all hyped about this game, you can start the game with questions with 6 or more responses. Another fun-extending idea is to set a new rule of decreasing the number of responses on every 2 questions. The first family to win 300 points wins the game. If you think you can score 300 points too quickly, feel free to make it 500.

Family feud questions and answers

By some reason you are not familiar with Family Feud because you’ve been living under a rock, the show is basically a guessing game. However, in the TV show, you get to play it with your family. Since this version is a video game, technically you will be doing it on your own. Well, in this case it would be better to play on your own than trust the AI of the game if there was one. Who knows what that artificial intelligence would spew out? Now the concept of the game is the “host” will ask you a question and there are a few possible answers for it. The answers, left blank, are on the board and you have to guess them all. The answers are ranked from highest to lowest, in which the highest one would get you the most points.

This is a game that involves intelligence and your knowledge of trivia. Of course, most of the time common sense is just what you need to get the answers right. Believe it or not, some of the questions with the most obvious answers are what most players get wrong because of time pressure or stress from the urgency of the situation. On the other hand, some people are just not knowledgeable enough on most matters. Bing games’ Family Feud is a title that you can enjoy free of charge, anytime you want to play it. Of course, you need to have an Internet connection to be able to do so. Other than those requirements, nothing else is needed for you to enjoy the game.

Family Feud’s appeal is partly due to its interactivity. While you are playing, the host will be speaking as well during certain instances. This can give you the illusion that you are actually playing in the real live game show, even if you are only using your computer. The controls are insanely easy. Point and click to perform some actions and when the time comes you need to input an answer, just move your cursor and click the slot so that you may be able to type in your answer before you tap the submit button. Finally, being a free game and all, this is something that you should be paying for but do not need to. So if you’re looking for great games for free, this should definitely be a part of it.

Family-Friendly Family Feud

I ve wondered a few times in my life what it would be like to be on Family Feud.

SURVEY SAYS: I don t really want to find out. I m pretty sure that I would have a mind blackout-either that or a laugh attack (probably because Kellie-sister #2- was already having one). Both of which would be mildly humiliating on national television.

To avoid the brain power outage and the giggles, I ve decided that playing at home with friends and family might be more my style. This could be a great time for a couples game night, a Family Home Evening, or a youth activity.

So here s how it goes

1. Divide the group into two teams.
2. One member of each team faces the other in a face-off as the teacher reads a question.
3. The team that buzzed in with the correct answer has the option of continuing to play the question or passing to the other team.
4. The team that plays the question tries to reveal all of the correct answers to the question before receiving three strikes. (If the answer given is not one of the answers listed, it’s a strike.)
5. If the team receives three strikes without clearing the board (providing all of the answers), control is passed to the other team.
6. The team that now has the control is able to give one answer in the hopes that it is found on the board.
◦ If it is, points are added to the team’s score.
◦ If not, the other team gets the points.
◦ Each answer is associated with a number. That number represents how many people, out of 100, gave that answer. The team that wins the question round gets the number of points as answers that have been given.
7. Designate a time for game play (maybe 30 minutes), and when time is up, the team with the most points wins.

Where do people usually wear sandals?
a. Beach (70)
b. Pool (14)
c. Park (9)
d. Shower (4)

Scenario 1: The first team maintains control over the question the whole time and gets 3 of the four correct answers-let’s say they guessed the beach, the pool, and the shower. Before they guess park, they get three strikes, but the other team fails to steal by answering correctly on their one chance. When that question round finishes, the first team would get 70 points for beach, 14 points for pool, and 4 points for shower, leading to a total of 88 points.

Scenario 2: If the second team, on their chance to steal after the first team got 3 strikes, came up with the correct answer of park, they would get all of the points, for a total of 97 points.

If you have questions, please just watch Family Feud. This was much more complicated to try and explain than I expected.

Try Playing Family Feud in the Classroom: A Fun Inter-Class Game #answer

#family feud questions and answers

#

Of course, Family Feud is a well-known game. Play the game in the classroom for a fun twist. It is easy to play and costs nothing but a bit of time. This game is best played when you can involve another classroom. In this way, a class can receive a variety of answers and you can teach cooperation among unrelated groups. You can even use this game as a lesson in diversity as you focus on specific cultural activities or foods. Students may be surprised at what they can learn from each other by playing this simple and fun educational game.

This game can be modified to fit the needs of the classroom in consideration of group size and timing. To describe this game I am going to base it on two classes of fifteen working together. Feel free to modify it as you see fit. Also, this version involves family members. To create the game, both classrooms will need to do the following:

  • Break the students up into two groups. These will be the “families”.
  • Have the students come up with “survey questions”. Organize the questions so that you have a list of twenty questions.
  • Have the students take the questions home and ask 1-2 people in their family answers to the questions. Sample questions are listed later in this article.
  • When the questions come back, have the children group like answers. Tally up the top three to five answers. At this point, each of the twenty questions should have three to five top answers.
  • Trade questions with the other class to use to play the game.

As you can see, this activity is one to be done over a week’s time. Begin on Monday and actually play the game on Friday. To play the game, play it almost as you see it on the television show. Have the groups separate. For each question, ask a different student. He or she must consult with “family” for the answer. Points are tallied based upon the number of answers that were given when surveyed. For example, if answer number one had that answer from thirty parents, then that answer would be worth thirty points.

Here are some sample questions:

  • Name three vegetables kids hate to eat.
  • Name something you make out of flour.
  • Name the most common handheld electronic gadgets
  • Name the top activities that kids do in the summer.
  • Name the most popular TV shows.
  • Name the most dreaded household chores.
  • Name the most popular skateboarding tricks.
  • Name the things used in a garden.
  • Name things that girls do at a slumber party.
  • Name games to be played on the playground.

The questions should be designed to provoke more than one answer. The students can have fun with these questions, and will be using several types of skills to work on this project. Mathematical skills, deductive reasoning and responsibility are a few. This game can also be combined with learning themes for the week or month. For instance, if the theme is gardening, you might want to ask students to focus their questions on plants, gardening supplies or techniques. Remember, Family Feud in the classroom is just another fun learning tool to incorporate into your current lesson plans! Get creative and find new ways to use this game to your educational advantage!

On an episode of Family Feud this week, host Steve Harvey posed the following question: We asked 100 married women, if you could change one part of your husband s body, what would it be? A contestant named Joyce quickly very quickly buzzed in to offer her response: His penis.

As you can imagine, things got real awkward, real fast. Her husband was standing just 10 feet behind her! Wearing a tie with a bunch of smiley faces on it! This weird little moment got us thinking: Wait, awkward things happen ALL THE TIME on this show. Let s go back and watch ALL OF THEM.

And so here you go: the 13 most uncomfortable moments on Family Feud:

1. That other time things got really sexual because the question kind of prompted it:

2. That time a contestant thought Jose was a name that started with H:

Family Feud Game for Showers Parties

Family Feud Game Boards

If you are looking for an upbeat shower or party game, look no further. At a bridal shower for my brother and his fiance, we played the classic game of Family Feud. Prep work took some time .especially considering I had to DVR and skim through many episodes in search of topics that relate to the couple s interests. (I did finally make up some of the questions/answers after much internet research!) But having questions related to the couple made the game more interesting and an opportunity for guests to learn about them.

Guests had the option of playing as a family member or to simply be a member of the studio audience. We played the game just like the TV show minus the final round. And, I made sure to have the Family Feud Theme Song for added fun . A couple of our questions included: Something People Run For (because this couple met when the bride-to-be was running) and Top 9 Items to Take Camping (this couple loves the outdoors).

As to preparing the boards, yep, it takes some time. I put the answer covers on with poster puddy. It seemed the easiest. When we played this game at a church youth group night years ago, a techy volunteer created a computerized version of the game for us. Very cool if you can manage it. No big screen for us here, just an easel with the game boards.

One thing you do need is a corny host. Yes, this is my husband wearing a blue leisure suit, some gold chains and a crazy wig. If only you could have seen him enthusiastically jogging in as the music blared and his name was announced, giving high fives to all family members. I love that man!

Yep, that s my husband!

This game is perfect for a mixed shower! The bad part: not everyone gets to play the game. The good part: not everyone has to play the game. The best part: all the laughter and friendly competition!

‘Family Feud’ Contestant Speaks Out About Her Hilarious Repeated Answers

WATCH ‘Family Feud’ Contestant Explains Her Hilarious Response That Went Viral

In the greatest “Family Feud” fail to sweep the Internet, contestant Sheila Patterson’s responses have gone viral with more than 1.3 million views as she struggles to come up with other ways to say “mother.”

She continues to repeat answers already provided by her siblings, eventually driving host Steve Harvey to laughter, dancing and comedic frustration.

Today on “Good Morning America ” she explained what was going through her mind in that nerve-wracking moment.

“What had happened was, I had a moment there and I really think my nerves got the best of me. It just really got the best of me,” Sheila, who is from the St. Louis area, told ABC News. “There were a couple of questions, answers that I had already prepared, but those answers were already given, so basically, my nerves just got the best of me trying to come up with something else.”

Her brother, Samuel Patterson, was just happy the question didn’t get turned over to him.

“I tell you, I was just thinking the whole time, ‘Man, I hope this question doesn’t come to me because I didn’t have another answer,’” he joked. “But I had thought about the play, and I said, ‘Well, it looks like it’ll never get to me anyway,’ but I was hoping it wouldn’t come to me.”

Social media users are anxious to learn the other two phrases for “mother,” but the Pattersons can’t reveal the answers. Everyone will have to watch “Family Feud” on Feb. 23 to find out.
