Common questions

Deciding what format you should choose depends on the service, type of data, and your intended use of it. We have chosen types that we believe are the most useful and portable. For example, we export contacts as vCard, which is a very common format for email providers. We often will also provide additional options to fit your specific needs.

You can store your data anywhere that is safe and has enough room for it. In most cases, it is easiest to download it directly to your computer.

If you use a public computer, store it in Google Drive or an alternate storage space where you are the only user.

Note: If you use Google Drive and plan to delete your Google Account, you’ll have to move your archive to a different storage space before deleting your account.

In order to make sure your data will be downloaded, we limit these zip files to 2GB. Archives that are larger than 2GB are split into multiple zip files. Selecting the tgz or tbz format for your archive will increase the size limit to 50GB, so it is much less likely that your archive will be split.

Note: Special software may be required to unpack a tgz or tbz archive. Keep in mind that these types of files can’t have unicode characters in the file names.

Your archive expires in about 7 days. After that time, you’ll want to create a new archive with your most up-to-date information.

An expired archive doesn’t mean your data has expired, and you won’t experience any change in Google services as a result.

Note: We only allow each archive to be downloaded 5 times; after that, please request another archive.

The security of your data is very important, so when you create an archive, we want to make sure that you’re the only person downloading your data.

To do that, we ask you to re-enter your Google Account password if you haven’t recently. We understand that this may be inconvenient, but it’s important to take extra steps to keep your data safe.

Note: If your account has 2-Step Verification turned on, you may also be asked for an additional verification code that will be sent to your phone.

If something goes wrong with your archive or you’re not able to make one, try creating another one. This approach often fixes the problem.

When you export your mail from Gmail, each message’s labels are preserved in a special X-Gmail-Labels header in your download file. While no mail client recognizes this header now, most mail clients allow for extensions to be written that could make use of the labels.

See Migrate data away from G Suite for options on how to migrate your organization’s email, calendars, documents, and sites.

Flapper Dress Pattern

Click on the image to find out more about this downloadable eBook on how to make a Flapper Dress

B eautiful coordinated and accessorized outfits were a feature of 1920’s ladies fashions. Hats, shoes, stockings, handbags, dresses and jewelry all came together in perfect harmony to create a unique and elegant style that can only be appreciated when seen in real-life or in color illustrations. The vibrancy is lost in black and white photographs that typically showcase the era.

Answer clothing

1920’s Womens Fashions and Changing Lifestyles

Womens fashions in the early 1920’s experienced dramatic changes following the end of the first world war, in a period often referred to as the “roaring 20’s”, the era of the “flapper”.

The passing of bustles and corsets gave clothing designers much greater freedom of expression resulting in innovative styling. Women dressing in the new and colorful fabrics echoed the joy felt by a war weary population following the end of hostilities.

The rate of change in clothing styles for women and children accelerated during the 1920’s along with a decline in purchase costs. This increased the demand for dresses in particular, with silk and rayon hosiery not far behind.

1920’s Dresses were lighter (due to less material and new synthetic fabrics) and brighter and shorter than ever before. Fashion designers played with fabric colors, textures and patterns to create totally new styles of dress. Evening dresses, coats and jackets were often trimmed with fur. Fur coats dropped in popularity while fur trimmed coats, especially for women, followed an upward trend. Hemlines rose for most of the decade but dropped slightly toward the end.

The popular trend toward silk and rayon reflected a taste for luxury in the 1920’s and as a result cotton became less fashionable. Women’s underwear which had been primarily cotton before 1920 was predominantly fashioned from silk and rayon by the end of the decade. Young women in particular discarded cotton underwear for the new materials while older women were slower to change. Likewise city people made the change to the new materials and styles far sooner than country people.

Shoes and stockings assumed a greater prominence now that they were more visible. Silk stockings in all the colors of the rainbow, often with patterns, were designed to match the coordinated outfits of stylish women.

1920s Makeup and more

“Ensembling” was part of the new fashion trends and so purses and handbags became fashion items in a co-ordinated fashion statement. At the same time there was a marked decrease in the use of hooks and eyes, and feathers and plumes. The use of perfumes, cosmetics and toilet preparations skyrocketed due to a massive advertising effort in periodicals, newspapers, and radio.

Correspondence schools flourished in the inter-war period as people sought to educate themselves and create a better future for themselves and their families. Dressmaking and millinery courses in particular were embraced by women who wanted the new fashions but couldn’t afford retail prices. Others were looking to create full or part-time jobs for themselves.

Many women turned to fashion as a vocation in order to support their fatherless families in the case of war widows, or to earn extra income to spend on the new luxuries. Working women also embraced the relatively inexpensive ready-made clothes as mass production of contemporary clothing became common.

It didn’t matter if there wasn’t a department store in your town or city where you could shop for clothes or accessories as all the big department stores had mail-order catalogs where you could order clothes for men, women, and children for delivery by post. This meant country people had easy access to city fashions for the first time.

Pantsuits, hats and canes that gave women a sleek look without frills and avoiding the fickleness of fashion were popular for a while. The style was named after the novel La garГ§onne by Victor Margueritte. In Europe, this look featured women with short hair (Bubikopf) for the first time; in the U.S., “the bob” was reintroduced by actress Louise Brooks in the late 1920s.

The hairstyles of Hollywood stars were copied by women all over the world and womens magazines carried articles on how to achieve the current look. Hairstyles were much shorter than the previous decade and styles like finger waving, the Marcel wave and permanent waving were in vogue.

Answer clothing

Women’s underwear changed as a result of this move towards practical clothing, with corsets becoming smaller and more flexible, and modern style bras being introduced. The new bras provided shape and support whereas the older style tended to flatten breasts and constrict the chest.

Flappers, as the trendy young women were called in the U.S., wore short dresses with a straight loose silhouette. By 1927 seams had risen to just below the knee, so that part of the knee could be seen when dancing the Charleston.

Thus, the Roaring Twenties redefined womanhood a new woman evolved; it became more acceptable to smoke and drink in public, closer body contact in dancing, shorter hair, make-up, different styles of dress, and greater participation in the workforce – all contributed to the new woman.

Trigonometry is an important branch of mathematics which deals with ratios and relationships between angles and sides of triangles, especially right angled triangles. Trigonometry deals with mainly six types of trigonometric ratios which are – sine (sin), cosine (cos), tangent (tan), cosecant (cosec), secant (sec) and cotangent (cot). There are various important formulae which are used in trigonometry and numerous word problems. Trigonometry word problems include problems relating to circles, degrees, trigonometric functions, radians, exact values of trigonometric ratios and problems involving identities. Students usually find it difficult while solving trigonometrical word problems.

Let OA be the height of the light house and B be the position of boat.

Given, $\angle$ OBA = 15 degrees and OA = 60 m

Math problem answers

or OB = OA cot 15 o (cot x = $\frac<1>$ )

or OB = 60 cot (45 – 30)

Here BC = 100 mt, $\angle$ BAC = 45 degree and $\angle$ BAD = 60 degree

Let the length of the CD = x mt

In Triangle ABC

Now, in triangle ABD,

Therefore, BD = BC + CD

=> 100 $\sqrt 3$ = 100 + x

or x = 100( $\sqrt 3$ – 1) mt

Hence the height of the CD is 100( $\sqrt 3$ – 1) mt .

Hijab: Question and Answer, answer clothing.#Answer #clothing

HIJAB IN THE WORKPLACE

Q. What are the requirements for Muslim women’s dress?

A: Rules regarding Muslim women’s (and men’s) attire are derived from

the Quran, Islam’s revealed text, and the traditions (hadith) of the

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). In the Quran, God states: Say to

the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their

modesty. And say to the believing women that they should lower their

gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty

and adornments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they

should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty

except to their husbands, their fathers. (a list of exceptions)

[Chapter 24, verses 30-31] Also, O Prophet! Tell thy wives and

daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer

garments over their persons. that they should be known and not

molested. [Chapter 33, verse 59]

In one tradition, the Prophet Muhammad is quoted as saying: . If the

woman reaches the age of puberty, no part of her body should be seen but

this — and he pointed to his face and hands.

From these and other references, the vast majority of Muslim scholars

and jurists, past and present, have determined the minimum requirements

for Muslim women’s dress: 1) Clothing must cover the entire body, with

the exception of the face and the hands. 2) The attire should not be

form fitting, sheer or so eye-catching as to attract undue attention or

reveal the shape of the body.

There are similar, yet less obvious requirements for a Muslim male’s

attire. 1) A Muslim man must always be covered from the navel to the

knees. 2) A Muslim man should similarly not wear tight, sheer,

revealing, or eye-catching clothing. In addition, a Muslim man is

prohibited from wearing silk clothing (except for medical reasons) or

gold jewelry. A Muslim woman may wear silk or gold.

Minnesota; Your Hijab and U.S. Law, North American Council for Muslim

Q. Is Islamic dress appropriate for modern times?

A: Islamic dress is modern and practical. Muslim women wearing Islamic

dress work and study without any problems or constraints.

Q. Does Islamic dress imply that women are submissive or inferior to men?

A: Islamic dress is one of many rights granted to Islamic women. Modest

clothing is worn in obedience to God and has nothing to do with

submissiveness to men. Muslim men and women have similar rights and

obligations and both submit to God.

Q. But aren’t there Muslim women who do not wear Islamic Dress, or hijab?

A: Some Muslim women choose not to wear hijab. Some may want to wear it

but believe they cannot get a job wearing a head scarf. Others may not

be aware of the requirement or are under the mistaken impression that

wearing hijab is an indication of inferior status.

Q. Why is Islamic dress becoming an issue for personnel managers and

A: The Muslim community in American is growing rapidly. Growth factors

include conversions to Islam, immigration from Muslim countries and high

birth rates for Muslim families. As the community grows, more Muslim

women will enter the work force. In many cases, these women wish both to

work and to maintain their religious convictions. It should be possible

to fulfill both goals.

Q. What issues do Muslim women face in the workplace?

A: Muslim women report that the issue of attire comes up most often in

the initial interview for a job. Some interviewers will ask if the

prospective employee plans to wear the scarf to work. Others may

inappropriately inquire about religious practices or beliefs. Sometimes

the prospective employee, feeling pressure to earn a living, will take

off the scarf for the interview and then put it on when hired for the

job. Modest dress should not be equated with incompetence.

Other issues include unwanted touching or pulling on scarves by other

employees, verbal harassment or subtle ostracism and denial of

promotion. Many Muslims also object to being pressured to attend

celebrations of other religious traditions or to attend

employer-sponsored celebrations at which alcohol is served.

Q. What can an employer reasonably require of a woman wearing hijab?

A: An employer can ask that an employee’s attire not pose a danger to

that employee or to others. For example, a Muslim woman who wears her

head scarf so that loose ends are exposed should not be operating a

drill press or similar machinery. That employee could be asked to

arrange her hijab so that the loose ends are tucked in. An employer can

ask that the hijab be neat and clean and in a color that does not clash

with a company uniform.

Q. What are the legal precedents on this issue?

A: Many cases have demonstrated an employee’s legal right to reasonable

accommodation in matters of faith. Examples: 1) The failure of other

Muslim employees to wear headscarves is legally irrelevant. The employee

need only show sincerely-held religious beliefs. (E.E.O.C. v. Reads,

Inc., 1991) 2) There are no health or safety concerns at issue. (Cf.

E.E.O.C. Dec. No. 82-1, 1982, also E.E.O.C. Dec. No. 81-20, 1981) 3)

Companies cannot give effect to private biases. In other words, just

because an employer believes customers will be prejudiced against a

woman in a scarf, that does not mean the employee can be fired. (Palmer

v. Sidoti, 1984, also Cf. Sprogis v. United Air Lines, Inc., 1971) 4) An

employer must demonstrate undue hardship caused by the wearing of

religious attire. (TWA v. Hardison, 1977) Hardships recognized by the

courts include cost to the employer or effect on co-workers. 5) Dress
