Graduate: Master s of Science in Nursing

The PHSSN graduate nursing programs prepare students to assume leadership roles in diverse populations through advanced study in health care delivery. Our programs include:

    • MSN – Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
    • MSN – Education
    • Post-Master’s Certificate – Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

    Purpose

The purpose of the Master of Science in Nursing Program is to prepare nurses to assume leadership roles in advanced family nurse practitioner positions, educators, or nurse executives of patient care services within a variety of institutions or health care agencies. In addition, students are guided to incorporate theory and the research process in a variety of roles and practical settings.

    Philosophy

Patty Hanks Shelton School of Nursing functions as an educational consortium among, Hardin-Simmons University and McMurry University. Thus, we accept the underlying philosophies and objectives of the consortium universities:

    • Because graduates will assume participating roles in a society that responds to the rapidly changing and increasingly complex needs of people, men and women shall be educationally prepared in a manner that promotes the development of intellectual, cultural, moral and religious values.

Nurses have an obligation to participate in the comprehensive planning and development of the health care system while at the same time recognizing that individuals are ultimately responsible for their own health care. The complexity of today’s health care system requires nurses with developed leadership skills and superior critical thinking abilities who will collaborate with others to achieve quality health care services for all citizens.

In that time, we’ve led the industry in expanding our suite of disaster recovery, regulatory compliance, and business continuity solutions in anticipation of rapidly-changing data management trends.

Today, we’re more than just an offsite backup software company. We offer a comprehensive suite of hosted disaster recovery solutions that give organizations greater control over their retention policies while allowing them to overcome complex backup management challenges through cost-effective automation.

And in case of a major data loss incident, our customers get their data back faster, more securely, and with greater control visibility.

Storagepipe works hard, both directly and through our many partners and resellers, to offer our customers the Canadian backup industry’s most comprehensive suite of data protection tools from a single source. Get in touch with us today and find out how we can help your organization save time and money by enhancing and automating your business continuity process.
